Pick up this great gift idea. Dave Marcoullier is a nature-loving guy--he's a landscaper and a certified arborist. He also happens to live in the heart of San Francisco's Mission District and he has discovered how to combine his loves of nature and city life in his extraordinary wooden skyline panels. Each panel captures a select cityscape in dark hued solid walnut. Marcoullier drafts the designs digitally then mills each city's iconic skyline into the wood with a router. Finally he sands and stains each piece by hand. The areas representing the city retain the unaltered color of the wood while the darker areas of the sky overhead are achieved with wash of natural teak oil stain. A hole is pierced in the back of each panel for easy mounting. Handcrafted from sustainably harvested wood in San Francisco California. Click here to see all available city skylines.
